How To Mine In EVE Online (Mining Ore, Ice, Moons and Gas)

These are two decent Tutorials, they could be better. They are decently informative, very good for Beginning to Intermediate Players, but for the Advanced, not so much. They are also prime examples or the cheap play techniques used by PvP'ers.

Mining is filled with a lot of Nuances, a lot of which one has be a Miner for quite a while to know and understand. I do have to give some credit to long time players who are primarily PvP players who for some unknown reason want to become On Line influences and then want to explain all aspects of the game to new players. They convey a decent message when trying to explain something outside of their normal game play style or genre.

I'm listing and or referencing several players who honestly are trying to get people playing and to understand a this games dynamics (mining) but on the same token, when they say foolishness like "best mining," "highest yield fit," for the most part is absolute bullshit. PvP'ers whose goal is to use the best cheapest ship and who thrive on only losing cheap stuff, have no business telling Miners how to mine, much less what to or not to use.

In compiling my list here, I found what I believe to be the best information available without the PvP mentality. So, unless I say specifically a video is absolutely spot on, just assume your mining intake will always be NOT the best build or fit, but it will do.

Just to give you a frame of my mind set, YES my ships are blingy, YES my capsuleer is blingy, I use the best faction, mining, implants and so on. Do I lose ships, YES I do but its very rare. Do I lose my capsuleer, YES I do but that's extremely rare.
- My Ships are "Blinged" with the best equipment.
- My Capsuleer has Maxed Augments specifically for my use.
- NEVER MINE AFK - EVER!
- I do this is both HIGH SEC and NULL.
- In Mining, to make ISK you got to spend ISK, to stay space poor.
- Multiple Characters are mandatory.

My thought on the matter is that if I spent 4 bill on character augments and a ships fit, I will make 100x or more of the amount I spend and it pays for itself 100 times over. Why take 2x to 3x more time to intake the amount of Ore or Ice you can pull in one take?

EVE ONLINE is a difficult game to contend with for most new players, although it has come a long way to make the game less of a pain in the ass to play. With real life training times, long term strategy, useless people trying to screw you out of your assets and decent fun playing. The game is full of assholes that will cause players tons of issues. The dev's all suck ass and favor these shit heads, and are a constant problem in the game. But, in light of all that, it is a decent game to play as long as you can tolerate the bullshit that comes with it.
